free103point9 presents exhibitions that focus on visual and sculptural practices within Transmission Arts. Installation or sculptural transmission works are often live, reacting to the frequencies specific to the works' location; or changing that information by adding new signals to the spectral environment. These projects are often presented in partnership with other exhibiting organizations.

Recent examples of these programs include Airborne (2005), presented at and in collaboration with the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York; Surge (2006), presented online in collaboration with Rhizome.org; and [silence] (2007) presented at and in partnership with Gigantic ArtSpace, NY. Works by Jeroen Diepenmaat and Christoph Dahlhausen and Michael Graeve in [silence].
