free103point9 Transmission Artists activate the FM airwaves at Scope New York featuring live performances and transmission works broadcasting daily from the free103point9 radio booth overlooking the Scope grassy hilltop.

Intent on challenging passive viewing, Scope ushers in 2006 with 30,000 square feet of organic exhibition space, specifically designed to open up the grid typical to all art fairs of the past. 80 galleries will uphold Scope’s unique tradition of one-person and thematic group shows, while spontaneous auto-curations and mobile exhibitions are “synched and linked” to the power of broadcast.

The free103point9 project space at Scope will feature a live performance booth, the free103point9 Dispatch Series, as well as other Transmission Artist multiples. A wall of assembled images will represent the 18 members of free103point9's Transmission Artists participating in the ScopeOnAir.
