Broadcasting live from the NYSAE igloo, NYSAE presents recordings of the Antarctic soundscape compiled by Andrea Polli during her two-month residency in Antarctica this past December/January summer season. "Sonic Antarctica" features natural and industrial field recordings, scientific sonifications/audifications (including a crying iceberg), and soundscape compositions by members of the Antarctic community including Polli, scientists, support staff, and other artists.
