Jason Grote is the author of the plays 1001, Hamilton Township, and Maria/Stuart. He wrote the screenplay for What We Got: DJ Spooky's Quest for The Commons, is the co-host of The Acousmatic Theater Hour on WFMU, and is a participant in the online writing experiment Significant Objects. Current projects include collaborating on David Levine's HABIT (upcoming: Toronto Museum, Mass MoCA) and commissions from Clubbed Thumb, The Denver Center and ACT/Seattle.
