The New York Society for Acoustic Ecology (NYSAE) is a membership organization dedicated to exploring and promoting public dialog concerning the sound in NYC. The NYSAE creates and encourages new ways of encountering the urban soundscape through lectures, performances, installations, a weekly web radio show on free103point9 called Giant Ear))), and the internationally exhibited ongoing NYSoundmap project.
